The Bushveld Nest takes its name from the wide grasslands of southern Africa – the natural environment of the guinea fowl, a bird instantly recognised across the continent.
Created from the bird’s naturally speckled feathers, this Nest reflects the rhythm of the landscape itself: sun-warmed earth, dust, stone and shadow. The markings are bold yet balanced, graphic yet entirely natural.
Each Nest is made by hand, allowing the feathers to retain their authentic patterning rather than imposing uniformity. The result is textured, distinctive and full of quiet movement.
Rooted in place and heritage, the Bushveld Nest is a celebration of Africa – its openness, its strength, and the familiar presence of a bird known to all who live there.
